Very Large Minton Art Nouveau / Jugendstil Arts& Crafts Secessionist Jardinière

  

From our personal collection we are pleased to offer this lovely very large Minton Secessionist j. Or cache pot decorated with. Piped floral and foliate decoration in green toned and lilac glazes between honey brown bands with lilac hearts and an ivory wavy line.

Such minor flaws as I can see, such as light spots, color runs and the odd raised spot are original to the piece (under the glaze). There is some light crazing as one might expect for piece of this age and one small chip in base (see photo). What is noteworthy is that the interior is in very clean condition. Though there are variations in color as you can see in photo these are under the glaze. This is a very fine example of English art nouveau. Is marked on base with the p. Rinted Minton's secessionist mark'MINTON Ltd. And the registered design number, Rd No. High, 12 inches diameter across top.

This is a large, quite heavy item. We use UPS tracking, and you will sign for Package. We feel there is nothing worse than receiving a damaged item because of cheap insufficient packing material for breakable items. And we fully insure in case damage or lost package happens protecting us both.
