The tray is done in the etched metal "Lineal Vine" filigree pattern. The patina on the metal is the very popular green brown.

The stained glass is the green white opalescent Favrile. The pen tray is 8 1/2" wide, 3" deep and stands 1 1/4 tall. This tray displays an acid etched Vine overlay pattern on a green white opalescent glass.

It has a rectangular shape with a a deep well and wonderful beading on the top and bottom border. The patina is the most popular green brown with some highlights of red. This pen tray sits on 4 round ball style feet. The patina is very nice on this one!

The tray is considered to be in very good condition as all the glass is in perfect condition except 1 side. One side has a tight line in it and no daylight can be seen when displayed.

This is hard to see and pictured. The pen tray sits nice and even. This pen tray is properly signed on the bottom with the micro "Tiffany Stvdios New York" impressed mark along one end.

The "v" in "Stvdios" denotes this as an earlier piece as well as the font size. This is a very nice desk set item that can be used in both the Pine Needle and Grapevine pattern. The etched metal "Linear Vine" pattern was one of the first desk set patterns created by Tiffany Studios. Tiffany started using a 3 digit numbering system after 1902.
