There are two light sockets complete with all original acorn pull chains. This lamp, as the tag on the bottom shows, was distributed by McKenney & Waterbury Co. McKenney, which also manufactured a wide variety of electric and gas lighting, had a nationwide roster of customers -- as the company's logo says, we light the world.
As for condition, the metal verdigris finish is excellent with no dents. This lamp has been rewired at several points in its life. I could only find a couple of fine partial hairlines in pieces of the glass shade. These do not show when the lamp is lit or unlit. The shade is very well made with tight and fine leading.
The mosaic glass pieces are precisely cut and fitted together. I will gladly do my best to provide you with any needed information, including more photos. Happy, satisfied customers are my goal. This lamp will require two oversize boxes, one for the shade and the other for the base. Also the boxes will be internally lined with foam board and other protective padding.
Final Comment: A really superb lamp that will add great charm to any room! I will consider reasonable offers. But don't waste your time or mine with half-price offers. Please check out my other listings: antique shades, lamps, pottery and porcelains, a fine William IV tilt top tea table made with specimen woods, ABP cut glass, antique art glass, bronze and pottery.I will be listing in the next couple of months some very fine antique silver and glass items from an advanced private collection. And take a look at the rare Andres collotype of the Courier and Ives 19th Century color lithograph of the baseball game at the Elysian Fields.
