Superb and rare large art nouveau antique Eichwald jardiniere / planter

  
A really beautiful art nouveau / jugendstil majolica jardiniere from Eichwald, circa 1900. This green and lilac floral pattern is a rare colour combination for Eichwald. The jardiniere is in very good condition for its age - minor surface marks but no cracks, no chips on the rim or significant damage. A tiny chip at the base. Some imperfections that seem to be from manufacture. Usual Eichwald maker's marks on the bottom. Quite a large item - approximately 22.7 cm diameter and 19.3 cm tall. A superb addition to any art nouveau / arts and crafts collection or period decor room. The planter has graced our living room for many years: downsizing forces sale. Any questions - please ask.
