Superb German Art Nouveau pewter and glass wine jug, made circa 1905. This is a stunning and tall German Art Nouveau wine jug with beautiful green and clear glass mounted within classic Art Nouveau design pewter lid, collar and handle.

The wine jug stands on an octagonal pewter base with chased berries and leaves. The jug is 5 inches / 127 mm in diametre and it stands 12 inches / 304 mm high.

The jug weighs 1,125 grams. The underside is stamped with maker's mark Orivit. The jug is in excellent condition with no dents.
