Stuart Liberty Green Trailed Vase 1905-10
A Stuart and Sone green trailed vase. Tuart & Sons, Stourbridge, England. Clear with lime green applied trailing. Waisted bucket with crimped rim. 11.2cms tall and 20cms diameter.
Good, no chips or cracks. Some scuffing inside and a light bloom.
Stuart and Sons are renowned for this style of decoration with many documented. Stuart were based in Stourbridge along with other great glass makers such as Stevens & Williams, Thomas Webb and Richardson. All of these companies produced similar designs. This variant was however marketed by Liberty of London, the nouveau retailer of the day.
