SET OF 10 RECLAIMED FIRE TILES ART NOUVEAU AND GREEN TILES Ref M2250

  

A set of pretty, reclaimed, antique fire tiles. The set comprises of 10 tiles and they are designed to sit with 5 on either side of a cast iron tiled fire, but could be used for other interior design projects. The set includes 6 Art Nouveau tiles with a pretty design, typical of the era, with tulips and leaves. The Art Nouveau tiles have been paired with four dark green tiles, to be placed at the top and bottom of the decorative tiles. The tiles have some damage and signs of age, as expected of antique items.

One Art Nouveau tile has a large chip out of one side edge. Another Art Nouveau tile has a thin crack that can be seen on the front and back face but it is solid and stable. The tiles have some small chips to the paint.

There are some small chips and knocks to the edges of the tiles. The tile glaze has crazing. There are some smoke marks and stains on the front and back of the tiles. The green tiles have some scuffs and scratches. Please see pictures for condition details.

The tiles have a very pretty Art Nouveau design and would be perfect for adding character to a cast iron tiled fire or to add character and charm to a home project. Art Nouveau tile measurements 15.6cm x 15.6cm. Green tiles 15.3cm x 15.3cm. All tiles 1.1cm thick approx.
