Striking Royal Doulton Lambeth Vase - Art Nouveau Design - Georgina Pearson - c. A quite superb Royal Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase decorated in the Art Nouveau style. The vase which stands on a small rounded foot has four panels each with slightly recessed floral decoration to the centre. There is further floral decoration between the panels set against a blue ground. Although not marked as such the piece is very much in the style of Francis Pope both in shape and decoration, it is certainly a high quality piece.

To the base is the Doulton Lambeth impressed lion and crown mark and the incised initials GP - possibly for the artist Georgina Pearson. A lovely and stylish example for the discerning collector.

26cm high, maximum diameter 12cm - 6cm at the base. In good original condition - mentioned for accuracy is a small manufacturing flaw to the rim which is entirely underglaze.
