Antique Royal Doulton Cabinet Vase Art-Nouveau Style. Artist-Mark of: FJ = Florrie Jones #7479 = 1902. Victorian Royal Doulton One Of A Kind Gift Vase. Lovely Art Nouveau detail's rarely seen. Artist monogram for "FJ" for Florrie Jones. Height: 4 inches by width 4.5 inches, base of 2 inches, mouth. Opening on top is 3 inches. Royal Doulton is the name used on Doulton and Company pottery made from 1902 to the present. Doulton and Company of England was founded in 1853. Pieces made before 1902 are listed in this book under Doulton. Royal Doulton collectors search for the out-of-production figurines, character jugs, vases, and series wares. Some vases and animal figurines were made with a special red or rose glaze called flambe. Sung and Chang glazed pieces are rare.
The multicolored glaze is very thick and looks as if it were dropped on the clay. Condition: Appears to be in very good to excellent original condition. We can find no problems.
