Reclaimed Art Nouveau Fireplace Majolica Tile Green Floral Design Marsden C1903. This is a beautifully moulded majolica tile featuring a unique floral design on a green background, produced by Marsden around 1903.

The tile has the registration number 403950, which dates to 1903. The tile is in good condition for its age, with small chips around the edges, crazing in the glaze and surface marks.

It has one corner slightly trimmed for the original fitting. It measures 6" x 6" square. These types of tiles, besides their value as rare collectable items, are also viable to be used for architecture, like restoration of an old fireplace, placed as a replacement for a tile from the wall, or just framed and hung on a wall for decoration.
