A stunning pair of antique opalescent Jack-In-The-Pulpit glass vases. From my experience I would say they are Kralik, due to the overall shape and style of the glass plus the loop around the foot of each vase. Certainly Victorian era, 1890s, Art Nouveau. A very unusual flower shape with a double rimmed, crimped and flared opalescent lip. The neck fades from clear into a classic green.

Footed with three shaped leaves, impressed with an intricate leaf pattern both on top and underneath. Beautiful antique condition, very light wear with no damage. Some production flaws - on one vase the inner rim has a 3mm split.

The same vase has a sharp edge to the tip of one leaf/foot where it has been pinched too much. The other vase has a couple of small bits of grit stuck to the base of two of the feet. Also other tiny flaws typical of glass of this age. Please see my photos for the best evidence of their condition.

Together they weigh 1.1 kg. 28cm tall, 12cm across the base, the flower heads are 14cm long and 10cm wide. Get Supersized Images & Free Image Hosting. Attention Sellers - Get Templates Image Hosting, Scheduling at Auctiva.
