Outstanding Murrle Bennett Enamel Silver Brooch. A fabulous arts and crafts Murrle Bennett brooch with a superb design that captures the Art Nouveau period and it's great designers such as Archibald Knox beautifully. This is so stylish, very reminiscent of Liberty's designs, made in and around the 1900's this finely enamelled brooch of two hearts joined together in a stylised bow design - fabulous enamel colours and clearly marked M.

The reverse of the brooch is stamped with "SILVER" and the makers mark "MBco" for Murrle Bennett. The length of the brooch is 20.7 mm approx.

The width of the brooch is 41.4 mm approx. The weight of the brooch is 10.8 grams approx. Remember, although our items are professionally cleaned & polished this is an antique/preloved piece, and it will have life wear marks on the metal, and in some cases, the stones.
