MOORCROFT Remarkable 1900 green FLAMMINIAN pitcher w pewter cover signed

  
An excellent example of William Moorcroft's FLAMMINIAN work in green This is a beautiful specimen that would add to any collection. The pitcher itself stands 5 inches tall, or 6-1/4 inches to the tip of the lid when it is closed. It measures a stout 6 inches wide and 5-1/4 inches from tip of handle to tip of spout. The base has a 3-1/2 inch footprint. It is signed by William Moorcroft on the base.

There are a couple minor superficial hairline graze cracks near the base of the handle, shown close up in our last photo. These hairlines are shallow and do not go through the vase.
