A gigantic Stourbridge Art Nouveau Stuart Tadpole Trail Liberty & Co Vase 31cm C. A gigantic hand-blown Stourbridge Stuart &sons / Stevens & Williams Art Nouveau / Arts & Crafts glass Vase having tadpole/peacock eye trailing. Never seen one this large before in more than 40years so the size I would imagine is rare. Makers known to have made this design are Stourbridge Stuart & Sons, Stevens & Williams, Thomas Webb, and Richardson.

Along with these companies, the Bohemian glass maker Harrach also produced similar designs. More recent references are attributing these Vases as having been retailed at Liberty & Co, London.

Good Antique Condition - a little bit cloudy at the base inside mentioned for accuracy and as expected. 12.25 inches (31cm) height X 6 5/8th inches(17cm) dia approx.
