Large Art Nouveau Holborn 2 Majolica Pottery Jardiniere Footed Planter Plant Pot

  

Here we have a gorgeous antique Majolica planter/jardiniere! This is marked to the underneath, Holborn. I have been unable to find anything out regarding the maker.

The planter comes in the Arts and Crafts style in some of the decoration but also shows Nouveau style in places. It is a beautiful piece with a lovely coloured gloss glaze which the photos don't do justice. It is very grand and would suit a luxurious home, lobby or hotel entrance. It measures approximately 8 inches by 9.5 inches weighing just over 1.5kg's. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
