Large Art Nouveau Eichwald Pedestal Table Centre 1920

  

This exquisite piece is a true testament to the Art Nouveau period, with its intricate floral swags pattern and glossy finish. The pedestal table centre is handmade and stands at 34cm high with a length of 39cm and a width of 24cm.

It weighs 2kilos and is made of high-quality ceramic material. The table centre is in excellent shape and is a unique addition to any collection. Eichwald Majolika Jugendstil Tafelaufsatz Jardiniere, a type of ceramic centerpiece made by B. Bloch in Eichwald, Bohemia, around the Art Nouveau period. There is a small firing crack on the under arm as shown in the photos and a crack in the main bowl which is very difficult to see(and photograph). As is I have priced with a view of being extremely happy to live with this item if is not to sell.
