Large Antique Art Nouveau Cast Iron "Tulip" Vent Grille - 43 / 110cm A stunning and rare piece of late Victorian / Edwardian architectural salvage. This impressive cast iron vent features a highly decorative Art Nouveau floral motif, depicting a repeating tulip and leaf design. Its substantial size and elegant organic lines make it a perfect candidate for restoration as a garden wall feature, a decorative radiator cover, or a unique fireplace fender. Design: Authentic Art Nouveau "Tulip" pattern with flowing, rhythmic curves. Dimensions: Approximately 43 inches (110cm) long by 10 inches (25.5cm) high.

Construction: Heavyweight cast iron with six original mounting lugs (ears) for easy fixing to masonry or timber frames. Condition: Structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or missing elements to the casting.

It has been overpainted in the past (green/lilac), which has preserved the metal underneath. It would come up beautifully if sandblasted or chemically stripped to reveal the original crisp casting details.
