LARGE 12 American Green Matt ARTS & CRAFTS Studio Pottery ROOKWOOD Vase 1905

  
You are viewing a large and impressive American Arts & Crafts studio pottery vase made by The Rookwood Pottery Company. It is glazed in a lovely matt green glaze and has incised linear decoration. It is stamped with the Roman numeral V dating it to 1905 and also the mold number: 943B. It measures about 12 inches tall and 6 inches wide at the shoulder. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks.

Some some small firing flaws such as a looseness in the glaze near the foot rim (please see photos) but otherwise minor wear and tear only. The interior held a liquid at some point and I have not attempted to clean the interior.
