A breathtaking example of turn-of-the-century Bohemian glass artistry, this 12 1/8 inch tall vase is attributed to the esteemed Josephinenhütte glassworks. Made of deep emerald green glass, the surface is richly decorated with hand-applied gilding featuring stylized lotus blossoms and flowing vines-hallmarks of the Art Nouveau aesthetic. Origin: Silesia/Bohemia (present-day Poland/Czech Republic). Material: Glossy green cased glass with detailed gilt floral overlay. Height: 12.5 inches (31.75 cm).
