Heliosine Ware Austrian Iridescent Art Nouveau Art Pottery Vase

  
A technical tour de force! This piece is all that and more. This magnificently preserved vase is a work of art. This properly SIGNED Heliosine Ware vase was made circa 1900 in Austria by one of the greatest pottery firms of that era. The highly iridescent vase is covered in a glaze that changes from its gunmetal colored ribbing to bold spectral highlights of green and pink and gold. The interior is cased in a forest green glaze. The vase is rather large for a Heliosine piece at 9" tall and 6" wide. There may be some wear on the handles and raised lines but it is our opinion these are all original.
