French Art Nouveau Bronze Lamp 2 Murano Glass Green Grape Shades & Flowers 3177

  

Gorgeous Antique Art Nouveau lamp with 2 grape cluster shades. Individual solid green and clear grapes are incorporated in each shade. The intensity of the colour of the clusters is determined by whether the lamp is on or off and the wattage of he bulbs. The lamp base is in brass and shaped with leaf details.

From the base comes a iron column with two iron arms from which the bunches of grapes hang. The column and arms are decorated with wire tendrils ending in metal grape leaves and green coloured glass blossoms. This is a true period piece and the lamp gives off quite a spectacle when lit, the glow that shines through each grape is truly mesmerizing.

The lamp is in good working order with a gold colour flex with a on/off button and 2 pin European plug and takes 2 small screw type bulbs. The lamp base is in good vintage condition with marks associated with age.

The are do have some paint chips to the metal and a little rust. The grape shades and glass flowers are in very good condition with no chips or cracks.
