Fabulous Iridescent Glass & Metal Art Nouveau Jugendstil Kralik Loetz Inkwell

  
A spectacular iridescent art nouveau glass inkwell by Kralik dating from around 1900. Of lobed form the square base sits in a stylised floral metal stand 67 mm across. The hinged brass lid is stamped and opens to a clear glass liner. The overall height is 80 mm and the piece is 85 mm across at its widest. The trailed glass body is just stunning with blue, green, purple, pink and bronze tones. Please see the photos which show it from every side. I suspect the base was plated at one time.
