Beautiful antique Edwardian three-piece hair comb set dating from the early 20th century. The set comprises one large decorative back comb and two matching side combs, all crafted in translucent jade-green celluloid with intricate pierced Art Nouveau decoration featuring stylised floral and foliate motifs. The flowing organic design is characteristic of the Art Nouveau period and creates a striking display whether worn or collected.

Surviving matching sets are becoming increasingly difficult to find, particularly in such attractive condition and unusual colour. 13 cm x 12 cm Matching side combs: Approx. 8 cm x 14 cm each Condition Very good antique condition. The pierced decoration remains intact and the combs retain their original shape. General age-related wear and minor surface marks consistent with age and use.
