Stunning Pukeberg, Sweden, Art Glass. Vaseline Glass Wine Stems, FIVE.

Swedish art glass wine stems in vaseline glass that glows under the blacklight. Very unique and in VERY FINE condition. This is the "Royal Fan" or "Turkey Tracks" pattern. The glasses stand 5 1/4 tall. Pukeberg was founded in 1871 and produced mainly pressed household glasswares.

In 1884, Arvid Bohlmark bought the company and became part of AB Bohlmarks Lampfabrik, producing lamps, lampshades and oil lamps. From 1906 until 1915, Elis Bergh worked at the company.

In the 1920s, the company specialised in large glass globes for advertising signs. In the 1930s, Pukeberg started with producing decorative glass. In 1935, Uno Westerberg started to work for Pukeberg, where he designed light fixtures and decorative glasswares.

He stayed at Pukeberg until 1978. Goran Warff and Ann Wolff joined in 1958 and left in 1964. Erik Hoglund worked freelance for Pukeberg from 1978 until 1981. Other designers that worked at Pukeberg include Staffan Gellersted, Ginilla Lindahl, Lars Sestervik, Ragnhild Alexanderssin and Carin Nordling. History courtesy of Glass From Sweden.
