Superb German Art Nouveau silver plate and green glass biscuit box, made circa 1905. This is a stunning biscuit box, round in shape with a lift of lid.

The biscuit box has beautiful silver plated frame with chased leaves and flowers and a swing handle. The biscuit box has it's fitted green glass liner. The biscuit box is 6-1/4 inches / 158 mm wide across the handles and 5 inches / 127 mm in diametre. It stands 7-1/2 inches / 191 mm tall and weighs 1,032 grams. The underside has clear WMF marks - see picture. The biscuit box is in excellent condition.
