Beautiful Art Nouveau floral green spelter vases, B. Poccard 1902, Secessionist

  
A perfectly-matched pair of absolutely gorgeous original Art Nouveau vases circa 1902 with a green patina bronzed surface. Cast in spelter metal, a zinc-lead alloy that ages to resemble bronze.

These were designed by the French sculptor, Mme. They are each signed along the lower edge Salon 1902 Bl. Each is decorated with a raised design of lady slipper orchid flowers which resemble Irises. Neither vase has its original copper liner.

13" high x 7" wide x 5.5 deep. Scattered wear to patinated finish, minor corrosion around inside lip, minor corrosion on base and lower edges. The price given is for the pair. Vases will be very carefully packed.
