Art Nouveau WMF Silver Plated Centrepiece With Green Vaseline Glass circa 1900

  

A Nice Art Nouveau WMF Silver Plated Centrepiece that combines a sculptural silver plated stand with a green and Vaseline ruffled crackle glass bowl for striking display. The arched handle frame is pierced and ornamented with small blossom motifs, lending a light, airy feel to the form. This beautiful centrepiece is of typical WMF Jugendstil design, with flowing lines and naturalistic floral detailing - circa 1900. Ideal for adding a refined period note to a dining setting, cabinet display, or hallway console. Height to top of handle: 10 1/2 approx.

In good condition - The silver plated stand shows only light surface wear consistent with age. There are no chips to the glass.
