Art Nouveau WMF Claret Jug with Green Glass Liner. WMF green glass claret jug of typical art nouveau stylised form. The bottom mount depictis a maiden's head with a flower in her hair.

The hair flows around the piece creating a winding pattern. The upper mount has floral motifs. The finial modelled with grapes.

The lid is operated via a hinge and a thumb piece. Impressed maker's marks to reverse of one foot'WMF','I/O' (normal thickness of plating/gilding), and'as' (antique silver finish). Quality Items At Fair Prices.
