Wiener Werkstatte Art Nouveau Jugendstil Silver Brooch Josef Hoffman. A stunning and most striking Wiener Werkstatte silver brooch inlaid with a green jade stone and decorated with fresh water pearls very much in the style of Josef Hoffman and Koloman Moser c1910. Of rectangular form, the brooch is modelled with Jugendstil style spade form flowers and scrolled tendrils adorned with fresh water pearls surrounding an inlaid green jade stone. A rare example, the silver work is identical in construction and style employed by the Wiener Werkstatte which can sell for astronomical sums. We are unable to identify the exact makers of the brooch which will require further research.
