Antique Arts and Crafts era handcrafted silver & enamel pendant necklace attributed to renowned jewellery designer James Fenton. This beautiful pendant features an azure blue, bright green and turquoise enamel design on a hammered silver shield. The pendant hangs on a delicate 16 silver chain with pin and barrel clasp closure. Birmingham hallmarks on the reverse. An anchor representing the city's resilience. A regal lion denoting the necklace's silver composition. An'i' for the year 1908.

The initials J F for James Fenton the maker are mostly worn away. Length of chain - 41 cm / 16 approx.
