Art nouveau/ peacock Stuart & sons glass small vase, hand blown
This small vase is hand blown (with a ground out pontil on the base) but it is unsigned. I bought it from an antique shop or fair many years ago and was told it was Stuart. Made circa 1905, It is clear glass with an in turned edge and 6 green trailed teardrops or peacock feathers. It is in perfect condition, no chips or other damage. It is 4" high and 3.5" diameter. I can't find a similar design on line so maybe not many produced. Stuart and Sons are renowned for this style of decoration. They were based in Stourbridge where other well-known glass makers were also founded such as Stevens & Williams, Thomas Webb etc.
