Rare Art Nouveau pate de verre dragonfly pendant by Amalric Walter. It will require silk cords, France c1920''s. Victor Amalric Walter born in France on 19 May 1870 and died 9 November 1959.
He was famous for his pate de verre glass. He joined Daum around 1905 until the first World War in 1915. He created his own glass studio at Nancy where he continued collaborating with Henri Berge from 1919 to 1935 when it closed WW2. He was famously a perfectionist who destroyed anything that failed his scrutiny. He died in 1959, destitute.
Makers signature AW in the glass. Dimensioins: 2½ inches /6 cm long, approx. Condition: good, signature clear, back with chip, please see closeup image, as can be seen from images the chip in no way detracts from the front of this stunning pendant.
