Art Nouveau Majolica Tile. George Marsden. C1903 /6

  
Size 6" x 6" or 152mm x 152mm. Another fabulous design from George Marsden. I have seen this in many colourways but in opinion the single colour tiles are the nicest as it defines the design so well. This is truly a little work of Art made by British craftsmanship at its best. Condition very good with the two top corners trimmed for the original fitting.

One slightly more than the other. Has some minute nibbles on the glaze on the left edge and one minute flee bite on the glaze on the right side foliage. Has a nice clean back with the printed pattern number K215 G?

Has two small chips on one edge which are not visible from the front. Please study the photo's as this helps with my description.
