Art Nouveau majolica Jugendstil Nasturtium handled platter tray by Zell, Germany

  
A beautiful example of an Art Nouveau majolica Jugendstil Nasturtium handled platter/tray/plate/dish by Zell of Germany. It measures approximately 36cm x 23cm x 4cm. Any strange looking white marks on the photos are light bulb reflections. No chips or cracks (it rings beautifully when pinged). It belonged to my mother and hung on a wall for years. The metal hanging device is still attached so it's ready to be displayed once again or you could remove it if you prefer. Please have a look at the photos that I have taken so that you can see the precise condition as they are of the actual item that you will receive and are part of the description.

I'll do my best with my descriptions but please feel free to contact me if you need to know more. The mannequin that I use is a UK size 8-12 so please bear this in mind is larger sizes are displayed and photographed on it as their true shape/potential won't be properly represented. If photographed with, for example, a petticoat, a necklace or other accessories these will not be included in that particular sale unless stated but may be listed separately so please check my other listings. Any shadows, white marks or'spotting' will probably be from my camera lens and/or lightbulbs.

Any true and known flaws/conditions will be stated in the listing. Some of my items may have been stored unused for a long time and will probably benefit from a clean/wash to freshen it/them up (which you'd probably want to do anyway, regardless) but everything I sell is from a smoke-free home: none of my household nor my family's households smoke or allow visitors to smoke in them. Some of my items retain original shop tags/labels and are listed as being new if they are still in new condition.

Some items will have creasing from over-packed wardrobe rails during storage and creasing will no doubt occur during transit as I have to fold/roll garments to be able to get them on their way to you. I use recycled packaging/bags/boxes whenever possible.
