Art Nouveau Kralik Draped Inkwell Iridescent Lady Jungendstil German marked
Glass has been blown in a draped pattern and lights up brightly with a UV light. Glass and the stunning Art Nouveau brass base featuring a finely done classic Art Nouveau lady with flowing hair, is in wonderful condition. The cap on the inkwell is damaged and just sits on top of the metal rim, but displays well. It looks like the hinge was damaged at some point in time and they really didnt know how to fix it once it froze up and broke so I have priced the piece taking that damage in mind. But once again, it displays very nicely!
The brass base is German and has a makers mark, see photo. This would be a great addition to a Czech glass or Art Nouveau collection.
