Antique Tiffany Reproduction Turtleback Belt Lamp Bradley & Hubbard Handel Style

  
This is a wonderful colorful Tiffany Reproduction Turtleback Belt lamp. I find no markings on it. The regular geometric arrangement of the globe is interrupted by a row of 18 turtlebacks which circle the shade. Rougher in texture, they are green, touched with blue and silver highlight iridescence. Really hard to photograph, but check out the photos to get the idea. Below the belt are three rows of molted green glass longer leaded segments extending to the lower border of the shade.

Above the belt there are 5 rows of the same glass with the segments squarer and narrowing toward the top of the shade. The shade is 15 inches in diameter and 7 inches tall. The lamp stands 19 inches tall to the top of the finial on its 7 1/2 inch bronze base. The bronze sculpted base has a beautiful verdigris finish whose highlights argument the colors of the shade and the lamp. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly.

The Lummis style base may be made by Odyssey, is unmarked, but quite heavy bronze. Just a terrific Tiffany Reproduction lamp and a good price for your home.
