Magnificent antique cameo glass vase from the elegant Art Nouveau era. Produced by the very famous company Loetz in the 1920s. Loetz started with producing cameo glass after 1918 under the name "Richard" to satisfy demand of that specific type of glass of the Parisian Market. Raised dark green olive floral design on a pale green background, absolutely gorgeous when light is on the vase.
Signed Richard in raised cameo at the bottom of the vase. Excellent condition, little points of ink on some places. Diam body 7,5 cm. Loetz produced cameo glass under the name'Richard' in the 1920's to satisfy demand for cameo glass within the Parisian market. Richard was a retail outlet in Paris owned by Edmond Etling.
Etling commissioned Loetz to create French style cameo glass that they could sell in their Richard boutique.
