Design could be attributed to Josef Riedel, Polaun, judging by the typical Jugendstil/ Secession style of him, combining Neo-classical and Art Nouveau elements. Uranium glass became popular in the mid-19th century, with its period of greatest popularity being from the 1880s to the 1920s.

Very unusual hexagonal shape and aqua green colour glass, resting on tripod feet. Beautiful gilded raised enamelings of scrolls, flowers and butterflies in vivid colours. Excellent condition, one of the tripod feet is gone, could easily be replaced with other glass foot.

This vase has incredibly skilfully applied decoration with, I would say, museum quality to it. Diam body in the middle 12 cm. This item is in the category "Pottery & Glass\Decorative Pottery & Glassware\Vases".
