Antique French Art Nouveau iridescent enamel glass vase c 1890

  

Gorgeous antique glass vase from the very elegant Art Nouveau era in France. Very possibly created by Francois Theodore Legras at the end of the 19th century c 1890. Absolutely magnificent vase, with beautiful iridescence to the textured glass, carrying the characteristics of the Art Nouveau style, floral and plant-inspired motifs, reflecting the art of that time. Hand painted enamel decoration of beautiful thistles and green foliage.

Very rare model, particularly the draped iridescent glass with a subtle sheen to it, real beauty!
