The fabulous intense grass green of these emeralds evokes a bright spring day and they catch the light perfectly, as they're set around the head at angles that shift as they move. A superb quality genuine Art Nouveau ring in solid 18 carat gold, it has naturalistic, gently tapering shoulders to its raised head - set with four deep green emeralds and a glistening cluster of six rose-cut diamonds around a sparkling 15-pt Swiss-cut diamond. It has a scalloped and galleried underbezel, allowing light to flood beneath the stones, creating bright, well saturated gems even while being worn.
It bears an 18 carat hallmark to the band for around 1890 and the maker's mark M&G. It's in lovely clean, wearable condition with no loss or damage, and is a size 6.25 resizeable.
