Antique Emeralite Bankers Desk Lamp 8734 B Green Cased Shade Miller B & H

  
This is a wonderful Emeralite Green Cased Glass Desk Lamp, #8734 B and so marked on the lamp. The lamp stands about 18 inches tall to the top of the Green Cased Glass shade. The base is a weighty 6 3/4 inches square.

The metal part of the lamp support is 15 1/2 inches tall and that adjustable part supporting the shade is marked on the plate Patented Aug 16, 1916, Emeralite Desk Lamp, #8734, H. McFaddin Co, USA There is no decal on the near perfect Green Cased Glass shade. There is one small smooth flee bite on the front edge of the shade, but it would not photograph. The Brass has an excellent nice smooth patinated finish to it overall. The lamp has its original felt and I decided not to remove it, just added the pads.

The original felt is not usually there. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. All in all, just a great looking Emeralite Desk lamp for your home or office desk.
