1898 Loetz Creta Glatt Bronze Jugendstil Iridescent Art Glass Vase. For your consideration is a fine antique Bohemian art glass vase dating to the late 19th century. A creation by Loetz Klostermuehle of Austria, this lovely piece features a beautiful olive green bronze color, known in Loetz terminology as "Creta Glatt", a well documented décor on the Loetz website. This vessel has a a gorgeous satin iridescent finish, floral or basket contoured form and fire-polished rim. The vase is considered to be in overall excellent condition, as there are no cracks, chips or repairs.

There are a few small bubbles formed during the creation and manufacturing of this piece. The vase is unsigned and measures approximately 5 3/8" height, rim measures 6 1/8" x 3 1/8. If you are a collector of Bohemian Art Nouveau art glass, you will not be disappointed with this piece.
