Antique c1880 Bretby British Art Pottery Propellor like Vase Yelliw Green Glazes. This stands 7 inches tall and is a RARE piece. I believe it is by Bretby. In good condition, no chips cracks or restoration. Hole in side which was intended to be made, unsure what it is for.
Any loss to the base is from stilt marks where it has been stood in the kiln. I have been collecting British Art Pottery for a long time, so have a reasonable idea who my unmarked pieces are made by.
I have many other items listed and have more to list. They include examples on pottery from Bretby, Christopher Dresser Designs, Linthorpe, William Ault, Wardle, Watcombe, Torquay Terracotta Company, Stapletons and Chinese Flambé pieces.
