Antique Bohemian Art Glass Hyacinth enamel gilt vase 1880-1900

  

Fantastic and extremely beautiful gem like antique vase from the very elegant Art Nouveau era. Manufactured and decorated most probably in Carlsbad, Bohemia, by Moser Glass factories in the late 19th century, c 1880, judging by the exquisite decoration (another possibility would be a work of Fritz Heckert). Beautiful forest green glass with very subtle uranium reflexion at the base. Baluster shape with pedestal base and gold trim.

Magnificent three central medallions with iris flowers and leaves depiction, hand painted with polychrome enamel. Beautiful broader band on top, with in relief hand painted with white enamel garland of foliage, framed with red enamel beads and white enamel ornamentation below, real showstopper!! Excellent condition, bit of gilt loss on the bands.
