These blue and green peacock eye beads. Are from Gablonz in the old Kingdom of Bohemia, they. Are getting rarer and harder to find. They look stunning - particularly under artificial light.

The necklace appears to be strung on the original thread, which is still good and strong. It fastens with a bolt ring clasp.

The only thing worth mentioning is that there is a small chip to one of the beads. Close to the clasp (please see penultimate photo). This is old smooth damage and doesn't in any way detract from its immense charm.

It is a short necklace, ideal for a slender neck. Necklace measures approximately: 15.5 or 39cm. The largest central bead measures: 17.8mm. A Beautiful Eye-Catching and Unique Piece! In Very Good Antique Condition.
