Antique Art Nouveau Loetz Crete Pampas Green Iridescent Art Glass Vase

  

A stunning antique Loetz hand-blown vase from the late 1890s. The art glass features a lustrous Crete Pampas surface decor of pulled green thread over blue-green-gold iridescent. The urn-shaped vase has a wide fluted mouth and a polished pontil. It was founded in 1840 by Johann Loetz, in what is now the Czech Republic.

It is in good vintage condition with original bubbles and marks from the blowing process. Size: 5-1/4" high by 5" W (at widest) by 3-1/4 mouth opening.
