ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU GILDED LADY TABLE LAMP WITH FLORAL RED, GREEN AND GOLD GLASS SHADE. This is an original Art Nouveau table lamp. The butterfly lady stands on a green marble base. Her arms are stretched above her head and in her hands she holds the light, which is covered with a pretty shade made of green, red and gold glass flowers that are held together on a wire net.

She is provocatively dressed in a long flowing dress which opens at the thigh. The gilt paint suggests that the lamp is made of spelter and not bronze. Nonetheless, the shade screams out quality and looks stunning when lit. It is not wired and does not have a bulb - both are simple to wire and fit. It is14" tall and the base is 4 3/4" in diameter. There are signs of wear, particularly on the marble base but these are insignificant and only due to its usage over the years.
