Vintage WELLER POTTERY Forest Woodcraft Tree Scenic Jardiniere Pedestal Base. Today we are thrilled to be offering for sale a truly beautiful vintage Weller Pottery Forest scenic pedestal stand!

Weller founded Weller Pottery in Fultonham, Ohio, United States. Originally, his business consisted of a small cabin and one beehive kiln, and Weller produced flower pots, bowls, crocks, and vases.

By 1905, Weller Pottery was the largest pottery in the country. It mass-produced art pottery until about 1920, and it produced commercial lines until the pottery closed in 1948. This gorgeous Forest pedestal features naturalistic embossed forest and woodlands scenes with hand-painted detailing throughout. The piece is unmarked but without any doubt the work of Weller. Pedestal presents beautifully and is in good vintage condition, with very minimal detectable wear. There is a shallow chip on lower edge of base, and another rchip on upper edge (they are not very noticeable and blend in with the pattern). No other chips, cracks or restorations. Add fabulous art nouveau style and elegance to your home with an iconic ceramic art piece from an iconic American company! This base is for the large jardiniere which has a slightly less than 9 diameter base. Dimensions: 18-3/8" in height, 9" in diameter (top), 9-5/8 in diameter (bottom).
