Vintage Rare Coro Art Nouveau Hunter Green Glass Sprigs Leaves Bangle Bracelet

Featured is a rarely-seen 1920's - perhaps 30's circa Coro hinge bracelet in an Art Nouveau motif of quality construction - styled with an open cut-out centerpiece cluster of many wired-in hunter green glass beads nestled between the form's leaves on each side. The jewelry is signed Coro. It appears upon research the company in 1919 started to use a different font script that was not made at an angle - it is straight across as is this jewelry's marking (imaged). This information could be further researched at your discretion.

This piece appears to be made out of brass - perhaps solid with the current aged patina and some bright shininess of the two raised leaves' appearance. Yet, note also around the band's single leaf there is a slight tint of a pinkish hue (not distracting), which possibly the metal used was base with a brass plating - disclosing a possible uncertainty as to the metal's makeup. Aside, the finish presently is in very good condition, except for a couple small spots of discoloration on the top part of the band. Backside, all looks very good. The 7 MM glass beads are in very good condition with wiring intact - no nicks or inside cracks to the glass.

There is one bead underneath that has some scratching from contact wear with another. The jewelry has working hardware - no offset at opening and closure - it is a push down, slide out mechanism. An image was taken with a ruler to give a visual idea as to the jewelry's inside dimensions, which is 2 1/4ths by 2 1/8ths inches. Presently, the Coro bracelet is in a collector's quality grade, especially the condition of the art glass pieces and shape of the overall finish, having preserved through many years nicely.
