The desk is in a very popular highly collected style, military campaign style furniture is absolutely timeless, the handles are solid brass and recess inside the drawers, the leather is luxury premium cattle hide leather not the thinner skiver leather, its been split in three places to give it that special touch, gold leaf embossed all round. We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there will be normal patina marks all over from genuine age and fair use, please view the pictures, mostly its s a stunning piece of furniture.
